I got this recipe from Suzie Davis, a sweet lady at church. As I excitedly told her how I was looking forward to the potluck, she even offered to make a dish for me!
- 16oz (4c) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 1 med onion chopped or grated (she uses dried minced onion)
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- ½ teaspoon Tabasco
- 1 cup strawberry preserves
Combine all ingredients except preserves and mix well. Mold into ring and chill. Fill with preserves. Serve with crackers.
